CHARL1E DYE and his wife have moved into assisted living facilities in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  FRANK KIRSCHBRAUN had surgery and is recuperating in a satisfactory manner but, not fast enough to meet Frank’s wants.  ART KUSCHMANN has a dark cloud hanging over him.  Art has been in and out of the hospital so often that he thinks he has a vested interest.  Art’s wife recently suffered a heart attack and had to have open heart surgery.  RED SCHELLER enjoyed Florida so much on his recent visit that he has bought a home in the “Sunshine State” and will be moving very shortly.  His new address will be 887 Livingston Loop, The Villages, FL, phone number 352-751-5513.  We wish you many happy hours in your new home.  RUSS SEARING and his family vacationed in Hayward, Wisconsin and enjoyed a wonderful time.  They had their entire family, children and grandchildren and loved every minute.  Russ celebrated his 62nd birthday on May 14th.  ROY SCHULTZ and JIM WILLMERING were not holdouts and are again working for the Brewers at Miller Park.  JERRY NEIDINGER and his wife Edith spent some time in Texas visiting their son and his family.  Jerry is doing well, but now sports a pacemaker.  GEORGE BREWER and his wife Irene are doing well.  They still reside in Naples Florida. George’s golfing has been curtailed as he has a skin problem which is irritated by the sun.  George advises that he has given up his pipe and could no longer go after those fly balls in the outfield.  FATHER FRANK SANFELIPPO is now living in Alexian Village.  He is on oxygen twenty four hours a day and getting along as well as possible.  Father’s new address is 7979 Glenbrook Road, Room 6017, Milwaukee, WI 53223, phone number 414-371-7887.  JACK FITZGERALD has moved into an assisted living facility located at Library Square, 1820 South 75th St., Apartment 239, West Allis, WI 53214.  His phone number is 414-257-1435.  If you can, give Jack a call as he is very lonesome.  BILL LEVINE and RED SCHELLER have been playing some golf together during Red’s stay in the Wisconsin area.  Bill advises that he is now playing for fun and not score.  Bill likes his new location very much.  His new address is Brookfield Highlands, 21025 George Hunt Circle, Waukesha, WI 53186.  His phone number is 262-717-9010.  JIM KRUEGER visited his family and friends in the Wisconsin area.  They were here to attend graduations and First Communions of their children.

JIM FOULKS had stomach surgery and is presently on oxygen and is using a walker.  BILL STIYER and Joan celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary on June 10th.  The ROY SCHULTZs celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on May 17th.  ROMY FLORYANCE has not been able to attend our luncheons for a few months, but made the May one.  He celebrated his 78th birthday on May 20th.  DON DANIELS is back playing and enjoying golf once again.  He has fully recovered from his accident and was fearful of not being able to play golf anymore.  GARRY VADER extends best wishes to all of his friends.  He inquired about GENE SITARZ who at present is having some health problems and unable to drive which prevents him from getting to the monthly luncheons.  J0HN ROSPLOCH was waiting in his doctor’s office and noticed a familiar face.  After much introduction he discovered it was Charlie St. Augustine who was in the traffic department at Ladish Company and later their Traffic Manager.  Had many inquiries about DICK HEILMAN and have been informed that he passed away a few years ago in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin and his wife died a few weeks later.  Dick was Traffic Manager at A.O. Smith Corporation.  JIM MC MAHON had eye surgery and was unable to drive for a time.  He is now able to again hit the road and did so to do some work at his summer home.  JOHN BIALOZYNSKI visited family and friends in the upper Wisconsin locale and on the way home stopped at MAYNARD PIER’S home for a visit.  They played some golf and had an extended visit.  Maynard is a gifted and excellent musician.  While in the Navy he went to the Naval Academy of Music and is a member of the Wisconsin Rapids City Band which is sixty strong.  Needless to say, the Fourth of July week he was really on the go.  His wife is doing well after her hip replacement.  We thank BOB DONOVAN for telling us about ELMER ALEXY, who fell and broke his arm. I called Elmer, but was unable to talk to him at that time.  We wish him a speedy recovery.  Bob’s son, Alderman Bob Donovan, has been doing a great job.  CARL SMAIDA and Bernice are very happy to have their daughter and her family back in the Milwaukee Area. Their son-in-law was transferred to the local area and they have set up housekeeping here.  Our sympathies go out to the TOM KRITNER family.  Judy lost her sister recently.  Please remember her in your prayers.  KAREN KACZMAREK is already clearing an area where she can put the blue ribbons she will win in this year’s Wisconsin State Fair cooking contest.  She is a consistent winner.  WAYNE EDMARK and Pat now reside in San Antonio, Texas and they are glad their homestead is on high ground.  The flooding around them is devastating.  JERRY ALBRENT is holding his own in his battle with cancer.  A slight improvement and he goes in for more tests in August.  RALPH BICKEL lives in the foothills of Clifton, Colorado and is not normally affected by the heat, but he advises that this year the heat is stifling.  MARY KRIER is rooting the Brewers on and gets to as many games as she can.  Please pray for all of our deceased members, they are sadly missed by their family and friends.  Have a nice summer, have fun and stay well. Please remember:

We cannot cure the world of sorrows, but we can choose to live in joy.

Blessed is the season which engages the whole world in a conspiracy of love.  Make yourself necessary to someone.

Worry is interest paid on trouble before it falls due.
