Our condolences to the ARTHUR BOHLE family, the RED SCHELLER family and the FRANK REBERNISEK family.  Art passed away on May 15th.  He is survived by his wife Jane.  Art was the retired district sales manager of the Grand Trunk Western Canadian National Railway System.  He served in the U.S. Army for three years in the European Theater.  Art will be buried in Arlington Park Cemetery.   He was a true gentleman and well liked by all who came in contact with him.  He was 94 years old.   Lenore Scheller, wife of Red, passed away on September 2nd at the age of 78.  Lenore and Red were married for 57 years.  Lenore loved cooking, baking, painting and sewing.  She was a great card player.  Lenore was buried at Wisconsin Memorial Park on September 5th.  Frank Rebernisek worked at Gateway Trucking Company and held many positions.  Frank died August 28th at the age of 89 and was laid to rest at Pinelawn Memorial Park.  RUSS SEARING spent two weeks visiting Germany, Austria, and Switzerland and had a very enjoyable trip.  RON SCHULTZ’S grandson SAM HAY graduated from Milwaukee Lutheran High School as an honor student.  Ron is living in Nashotah and can be reached by calling 800-255-8919.  ED HENRY suffered a mild stroke.  The last word we have is that he is recuperating and resting at home.  GEORGE KREJCI sends best wishes to all of his transportation friends.  George has an eye ailment and cannot drive.  BOB SINKULAR is unable to drive because of an eye problem.  BOB DONOVAN agrees with his son, Alderman ROBERT DONOVAN on the issues of cruising.  RALPH BICKEL tore some tendons in his foot and is currently wearing a knee high boot.  HANK HOFFMAN is doing well after his surgery.  An allergy to some medication caused a set back.  TONY PITZO still golf’s with his retiree group from Blackhawk Manufacturing at New Berlin Hills.  The TOM ENGLES celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on June 1st.  We wish them many more healthy and happy years.  JACK CONNOLLY and Mary Lou and BOB SCHOELKKE and Kathy live at the Regency in New Berlin.  KEN KENNELLY celebrated his 86th birthday and son JERRY hit his 63rd.  Jerry has retired from his working days.  DEL TREICHLER’S wife Margie had to go into the hospital for some heart checks.  ART KUSCHMANN was rushed to Community Hospital after suffering a stroke.  He is home now but has to take it easy.  JIM CONLEY is working as a golf starter in Florida.  JERRY ALBRENT is in rehab after under going surgery for a malignant brain tumor.  He underwent radiation therapy and is presently holding his own.  

LEN ZEIS is in poor condition and the dialysis has weakened him.  BILL STIYER and family enjoyed their trip to Las Vegas and came home fully clothed.  FRANK KIRSCHBRAUN greeted his first great grandchild on August 1st, a baby boy named Benjamin Addison Davis.  EDDIE FRANKEN greeted a new grandchild, a baby girl born on August 27th.  The baby has been named Lorraine in honor of her grandma who passed away last year.  CHUCK MENTKOWSKI has been having some health problems that they have not been able to diagnose.  He is going in for a biopsy on September 12th.  JIM KRUEGER’S wife had surgery on her knee and is doing well.  Jim is a golf starter on one of the courses in Arkansas.  I understand that   FRANK ANDRITSCH, BOB MCBRIDE and GEORGE KELLY met with some friends and all are doing well.  

A few bits to remember: 

Respect is Love in plain clothes. 

A pessimist is one who makes difficulties of his opportunities;

An optimist is one who makes opportunities of his difficulties. 

Friendship is the only cement that will hold the world together.

Humor is the shortest distance between two people.
