The 2008 Scholarship/Turkey dinner was held at Clifford’s Supper Club in November of this year. Although the attendance was smaller than we had expected, the scholarship fund was able to raise over $800.00 to help sustain the fund.
Through the generosity of our education sponsors, the great raffle donations, and the dinner guests that purchased the tickets we are able to keep the fund alive.
We now have four scholarship recipients receiving $500.00 checks for their education needs. They are:
Scott Davis, first year
Michael Donovan, Second Year
Marie McFarland, third Year
Elizabeth Bares, Fourth year
Look for the Scholarship/Turkey flier next year and join us for an evening of fun and socializing with your business friends and help support the scholarship. We are one of the few clubs that still have a fund available to its members.
