Happy New Year. It’s a
bit late, but always a kind wish. Hopefully 2006 will be a year
of happiness and health and prosperity for each and every one of our
TAMI members and our families and friends.
I have a request. Lately we
have been lacking pictures in our recent NOIBN issues. The board
tries to have someone take pictures at our functions, but sometimes
this does not work. I would ask that anybody attending any of
our functions please bring a camera and take a couple pictures.
Especially if you have a digital camera, this can be a great help.
If you have a digital camera and took pictures at a function, please
attach a couple to an email and send to webmaster@tami-mke.org.
If you have a regular camera and you can scan the pictures and email
to our webmaster, great. Otherwise simply send regular snapshots
to our TAMI post office address and our webmaster will scan them and
insert them in the next NOIBN. If you can, please note in your
email or regular mail, who the people in the pictures are, so we can
add that in a caption.
I know we have many members,
particularly retired members, who have computers and live permanently
in another part of the country, who would like to see pictures of
functions they are unable to attend. Local people as well,
whether or not they were able to attend the functions, like to see the
pictures to help relive the moment.
Be sure to make plans and mark
your calendars now for our annual Awards Banquet. This is always
a grand and fun evening and new officers and scholarship winners will
be announced. Look for complete information in this NOIBN issue.
Invite spouses, customers, friends and neighbors, and anyone else, who
enjoys a wonderful time.

Also please keep in the back of
your mind another TAMI Bingo Bash to be held in Spring—perhaps in
April. Last October we did not win any prize, so the odds are on
our side. A good friend of one of our attendees won $300.00 at
that October Bingo Bash, so we all immediately told her she had to
share with us. Didn’t work.
With kindest regards,
DEL BRAHM
Acting President
