Dear Logistic Professionals…
It seems every day we pick up
a newspaper or turn on our televisions only to hear of more businesses
closing, or more jobs being eliminated.
Each of us are being forced to
tighten our belts and cut back on our living expenses. Amid all these
negatives we have a positive. The Transportation Association of
Milwaukee held our Board meeting on Jan.21, 2009. After review of our
financial situation, we decided to trim our operating expenses and thus
reduce our membership cost for our organization meetings and outings.
The reduction in our dues is
due to us using modern technology. We now produce our quarterly newsletter
on-line, thus saving on mailing cost. We are also reviewing options
for meeting places seeking ones which serve family style rather than costly
individual entrée prices.
Our yearly Dues will be $
25.00, a reduction of 40%. We have also reduced our
Advertising fee for our Quarterly publication of the NOIBN.
¼ page $75.00
½ page $125.00 and a full page is
$200.00.
This entitles each advertiser
to four issues at this yearly fee, and also reflects a reduction of
45%.
The Transportation Association
of Milwaukee (TAMI) is the oldest logistic organization in America.
We know the importance of having a Networking Association for Professionals
like yourselves to Network and exchange ideas. Our commitment is to
serve our membership with both educational and social functions to provide
awareness to current issues. We, your elected Officers are doing what
we feel is necessary to maintain our Association and to keep you, our
professional members, active in this association. We look for and
need your support to remain the oldest professional logistic organization
in America.
