The
Monday night golf league has ended with a perfect year of no rain dates
to make up. Except for the high heat and humidity it was a perfect get
away from the working environment we all face everyday.
This years final outcome was the young
beating the older with the team of Andy Dunn and Erick Leintz defeating Nick
Radmer & Paula Hubbard’s sub, Jim McMahon by 4 points in a 80 point
match. They came down to the last two holes to determine who has the
bragging rights until next year.
The league plays every Monday at
Silver Spring Country Club and plays on a different 9 hole course each
week which makes it very interesting for all. It does not matter if you
are a high or low average golfer because we handicap each night by
opponent and course.
The league will begin next year’s season on Monday
April 30th, 2007. We are always looking for more regular golfers and we
maintain a sub list for the nights you can not make it. Please watch for
the flyer in the spring NOIBN and also in the mailings which will be in
